Therapy for Teens and Young Adults

The transition from adolescence to adulthood can bring new expectations, changing relationships, questions about identity, and uncertainty about what comes next. I support autistic and neurodivergent high school teens and young adults as they learn to navigate tough, new, or confusing moments so that life feels a little easier and they can spend more time doing what brings them joy.

Areas I often help with

How we’ll work together

1 | Start with a quick call

We will begin with a free consultation call (video or phone) to talk about what brings you to therapy, answer initial questions, and see whether working together might be a good fit. For teens, this may include the teen, a parent, or both.

Young adults can contact me directly or they can have their parent help with the initial connection.

2 | Identify what matters most

During our first few sessions, we will talk about what has been hard, what matters most, and what you would like to be different. Together, we will develop goals and a plan that feels relevant, realistic, and meaningful to you.

3 | Meet for supportive, practical sessions

Sessions will combine space to talk openly about things and evidence-based strategies that can be applied in everyday life. Our work will be individualized to your needs, strengths, communication style, and goals.

Sessions are available in-person or through telehealth.

4 | Involve parents thoughtfully when appropriate

Parents can be an important source of support, while teens also need privacy and increasing independence. For teens, we will discuss together how parents will be involved.

Young adults decide whether and how they would like family members involved.
